Warren Lehrer (Moderator)

Warren Lehrer is a writer, designer and performer known as a pioneer in the field of visual literature. He has received the 2014 IPPY (Independent Publisher) Outstanding Book of the Year Award, 2004 Brendan Gill Prize, 2004 Innovative Use of Archives Award, three AIGA Book Awards, Media That Matters Award, and National Indie Book Award. He is a professor of art and writing at Purchase College, SUNY, and is a founding faculty member of the Designer as Author grad program at SVA. He will be presenting his newest book, A Life In Books: The Rise and Fall of Bleu Mobley (Goff Books), an illuminated novel with 101 books within it. A Life In Books is Lehrer’s tenth book, his first novel.
