Pablo Cartaya

Pablo Cartaya’s novels explore identity, place, and the spaces in-between. His debut novel about a boy standing up for his community, The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora, received three starred reviews and a Pura Belpré Honor. He is also the author of the forthcoming Marcus Vega Doesn’t Speak Spanish. He has also received the Audie Award Finalist for Middle Grade Audiobook of the Year, Cybils Award Finalist, Texas Lone Star Reading List, Publisher’s Weekly Flying Start, and the 2018 Thurber House Writer-in-Residence.
