Magali Duzant is a NY-based interdisciplinary artist working in photography, text, installation, and artists’ books concerned with measurements and perceptions of time, intimacy, and desire. Duzant studied art and anthropology at Carnegie Mellon University and Parsons The New School for Design. She has exhibited internationally at the Queens Museum, Fridman Gallery, the Mardin Biennial, and the Hermitage Museum amongst others. Her first book, I Looked & Looked, inspired by an exchange of love letters between Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz, was published in September 2015. Her second book, Light Blue Desire: A Manual For The Color Blue, an experimental guide to a color via blue idioms from over 30 languages, was published in February 2018. She/her/hers.
