Brigid Washington is a Chef and Journalist. She is the author of the cookbook: Coconut. Ginger. Shrimp. Rum: Caribbean Flavors For Every Season. She was Editor in Chief of the Culinary Institute of America monthly publication, La Papillote. She was raised in Trinidad and Tobago with the food and the spirit of the West Indian table, and now specialized in modern American food with a focus on fresh vegetables. She resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and two children.
